Angela Romero built the Step Counter & Pedometer app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Angela Romero at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

Purchase information: subscription or in-app purchase status through Google Play Billing.
Usage information: in-app interactions and analytics data.

Optional Location Features
Location is not required to use the basic step counter features of the app.

If you choose to use optional features such as Outdoor GPS Walk, the app may request access to your device location (while the app is in use) to provide distance, pace, and outdoor walk tracking.

Location may also be used, with your consent, by integrated network analytics services described in the NetSignal SDK Disclosure below.

We do not use background location in the current version of this app unless explicitly disclosed and approved where required by applicable platform policies.

Consent and Privacy Choices
Before certain data collection activities begin, we may ask for your consent through a Consent Management Platform (CMP), including Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) integrated with AdMob.

You can:

accept or decline consent;
manage your privacy choices;

This app integrates the NetSignal SDK provided by Wavebrook Analytics Ltd (“Wavebrook”).

With your consent, Wavebrook and its network analytics partners may collect pseudonymous network performance data from your device to measure and improve mobile network coverage and quality.

Depending on your consent and the permissions you grant, the SDK and its partners may collect:

approximate and/or precise location;
pseudonymous device identifiers;
mobile network and connectivity information (carrier, signal strength, connection type, latency, speed, coverage-related measurements);
device model, operating system, and app context;
diagnostics and technical performance data.
Wavebrook and its partners do not use this data for advertising or ad targeting.

Wavebrook, the publisher of this app, and certain network analytics partners may act as joint controllers for data collected through the NetSignal SDK.

The NetSignal SDK is intended for users 18 years of age or older. This app is not directed to children under 18.

Whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
